No. ShowLynk does not guarantee bookings. It's designed to help venues and performers find good matches and connect. Whether a gig actually happens is up to the venue and performer.

Nope. All payments, contracts, deposits, and agreements happen directly between the venue and performer. ShowLynk stays out of the money and legal side and focuses on making the right connections.

It's both. You can use ShowLynk on the web and on supported mobile devices.

Basic setup only takes a few minutes. Filling out your profile with photos, clips, and details will help you get better results.

Venue profiles let performers see your location (complete with map), photos of your venue, pay range, booking lead times and typical booking days, the kind of music or entertainment you want, age group, bar/venue capacity, indoor/outdoor setup, logistics for parking and load-in, your stage setup, equipment provided, bar tab (if applicable), and your overall vibe. A solid profile helps attract the right performers.

An Open Call is a post where a venue says, "We need entertainment for this date." You can include gig details like date(s) and time(s), location, genre or performer type, set/show length, pay, which other acts have applied, application deadline, what the venue provides, and any special notes. Performers then apply if it's a fit.

Venues review applications, message performers, agree on details off-platform, and then confirm the booking in ShowLynk for tracking purposes.

Absolutely. Messaging is built in so everyone can talk about details before committing.

Venues can block off unavailable dates, see booked dates at a glance, and avoid double-booking.

Yes. If plans change, you're free to update or remove Open Calls.

Your profile can include genres, photos (including a profile picture), an about section, number of members, pay rate/range, set and show lengths, type of music performed, travel radius, experience level, social links, video or audio clips, and stage plots and tech needs. The more complete your profile, the better your chances of matching with the right venues.

Browse Open Calls and filter by date, genre, distance, rate, and venue type. Apply to the ones that make sense for you.

Click apply, send your pitch to the venue, and send messages if needed when the venue responds to your application.

Yes! Apply to as many gigs as you want.

Once a venue confirms a booking, it shows up on your calendar so you can keep everything organized.

Yes. Block out dates you're unavailable so venues don't try to book you then.

ShowLynk has built-in messaging so venues and performers can ask questions, work out details, and clarify expectations. No need to hunt down emails or social DMs.

No, but it's strongly encouraged. Clear communication leads to smoother shows.

After a gig, venues rate performers and performers rate venues. Ratings are 1–5 stars and help everyone make better future choices.

Ratings unlock after a gig is marked completed.

Good ratings build trust and make you more likely to get booked — or get better applicants.

Profiles are not guaranteed or certified, but ratings, reviews, and profile details help build accountability.

Yes. Accounts that violate terms or behave poorly can be restricted or removed.

Yes. Keep it updated as your band, schedule, or setup evolves.

You can delete your account from your profile settings page.
